Curated by world-renowned jazz pianist Takeshi Obayashi (Tcash), the danceable jazz music event ‘Dance, Jazz Night | JAZZ & SOUL UNBOUND’ is confirmed for Sunday, February 15, 2026, at BASE GRANBELL in Ginza, Tokyo! This danceable night delivers a crossover of jazz, soul, hip-hop, and electro elements through jazz, letting you experience the groove and live energy on the dance floor.

What is ‘Dance, Jazz Night | JAZZ & SOUL UNBOUND’?

It’s where musicians of different generations and tastes gather, and “danceable modern jazz” pulsates with an acid sensibility—that’s ‘Dance, Jazz Night | JAZZ & SOUL UNBOUND’. Weaving together the four essences of jazz, soul, hip-hop, and electro through JAZZ, we create a special night where music, culture, luxury, and “people” intersect. The stage is BASE GRANBELL in Ginza, Tokyo. Curated by pianist Takeshi Obayashi, known as “Tcash,” leader of MISIA’s band and winner of a world jazz competition.

Opening the night is Yuka Seki (John Coltrane Award winner), who combines beatmaking sensibilities honed in New York with a jazz background. She will be followed by the Kona Ishikawa Trio, a rising core of the young scene. Furthermore, the night’s “crossover” will be defined by the collaboration between next-generation trumpeter and vocalist Reiya Terakubo and NEWLY, whose intricate sound design is gaining widespread support. Then, DJ DANTZ, who ignites dancefloors worldwide from bases in LA and Tokyo, and ALI, whose anime theme songs command overwhelming support globally, join the lineup. The energy accelerates further through crossovers worthy of the name “UNBOUND.” Surrender to collaborations found nowhere else and dive straight into the heart of the groove. ——Let’s Dance, Let’s Drive.
